    • the transport allowance and one-off allowances – income must not exceed 5 times the subsistence minimum.

    Assessment of assets
The application also includes a declaration of assets. If the value of your assets exceeds €50,000, the allowance will not be provided.

    Useful tip
Some municipalities provide social services or allowances for dependent residents. Each municipality sets the conditions in its generally binding regulations. You can also apply for this assistance electronically through the Slovensko.skOpens in a new window portal: select your municipality and search for the service using the name of the service provided by the municipality.

Example: A person with a severe disability lives with their spouse. The average monthly income is calculated as follows: (the person’s annual income + the spouse’s annual income) ÷ 12 ÷ 2 = average monthly income per person.
